For the safety and sensitivity of our various stages of recovery, please follow these rules when writing, commenting, and submitting on this site.

Please do not include weights (pounds, ounces, kilograms, stone), calories/kilocalories, minutes, hours, distances, clothing sizes, or any other types of measurements.

This includes specific behaviors that you engage or have engaged in that revolve around food, weight, exercise, etc.

Please do not refer to specific parts of your body or anyone else’s body.

*These rules do not need to apply to your private, personal writings that will not be shared with others.

A list of virtual support groups based on your specific needs, from the National Association of Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders.

The largest nonprofit in the U.S. delivering prevention, treatment financing, and recovery support for people suffering from eating disorders. (Psst, I’m also an Ambassador!)

BALANCE Eating Disorder Treatment Center

Online support groups and resources, including a virtual intensive outpatient (IOP) program.

 

Psychology Today

A search engine to help you find local eating disorders treatment near you.

Eating Disorder Foundation

Virtual support groups, education, outreach, mentorship, and advocacy for people with eating disorders, their loved ones, and professionals.
